The park is open from 7.00am for setting up. If you have hired a gazebo from us these will be erected for you and available from 7.30am.
Please enter through the Anglesey Road entrance to the park. Vehicles will be permitted in the park however will need to be offsite by 9.30am.
Once you are onsite, please check in with a volunteer who will be able to show you where your pitch/gazebo is located within the park.
At 9.30am there will be a briefing which will include health and safety, fire evacuation and you will receive a plan of the park and agenda of all the activities which will be taking place throughout the day which will enable you to signpost the community too. The event starts at 10am.
The park has limited parking spaces which we are allocating to those with mobility issues, should you require a space please confirm in an email.
All vehicles unless previously agreed will need to be offsite by 9.30am.
Parking is available locally to the park in St John’s Cathedral, which is charged at £5.00 for 24 hours. There are a limited number of spaces available to pre-book. However, there will still be some spaces available on the day.
There are two other car parks located nearby, one at Portsmouth Guildhall and one located in Greetham Street.
Bottled water will be supplied for all stall holders. There will be food and drinks vendors attending the event to purchase food from should you require.
There will be a first aid and security tent onsite, which will be clearly signposted on the day.
The toilets will be situated by the Greenhouse and opposite the Anglesey Road entrance to the park.
There will be a survivor’s tent/memorial place, where guests will have someone on hand to speak with or where they can just take a moment to chill in the “chill out zone.”
There will be a number of volunteers on hand to help on the day. So, if you need someone to help cover your pitch for a toilet break or if you need to grab a drink/snack, please just ask. All volunteers will be in hi-vis vests.
The event finishes at 4pm, Please do not pack up/leave the site until after 4pm. We must be offsite by sundown, so there is no panic to leave the site.
