5th September 2026

A free, family-friendly wellbeing day held in Victoria Park, Portsmouth

What is S.A.L.T Festival?

S.A.L.T Festival (Suicide Awareness Let’s Talk) previously known as Let’s Get Talking About Suicide, is a free, family-friendly wellbeing day in Portsmouth, now in its 4th year. It will be 5th September this year in Victoria Park, Portsmouth.

Sarah Mitas was inspired by losing her father to suicide at 13, and the recent loss of her friend Lara who helped me realise her dream of making this happen in 2023 and went one step further with her determination to promote suicide awareness with the Portsmouth Baton of Hope. S.A.L.T exists to ensure no one feels alone.

We strive to keep this event free of charge to the community to ensure there are no barriers to attending.
